While the company's foundation was established by the current owner in 1943, Mutual Wholesale Liquor, Inc. has been a consummate entity, a present location since August 1959. It is on e of the oldest California Importers, marketers, and distributors of the alcoholic beverages-distilled spirits, wines, and beers.
For the products directly imported by Mutual Wholesale Liquor, Inc. and its import division, international import export, exclusively has been granted by the overseas suppliers for the entire United States.
Mutual Wholesale Liquor, Inc. (MWL/IIE) Import portfolio includes beers from Germany and the Netherlands; wines from Germany , Hungary, and Italy and distilled spirits from Austria, France, Hungary, and Japan.
For close to 50 years now MWL/IIE has been distributing its wide range of products to large retail chains as well as to the general market in California. MWL/IIE also distributes outside of California throughout the United States.
Actually, MWL/IIE distributes to 40 states in the nation through a network of medium to large size reliable wholesalers and state controlled agencies. Retailers of MWL/IIE product's in various states include up-scale fine wine and liquor stores, grocery chains, and state controlled retail outlets.
To promote broader brand recognition special effort is being made to increase on-premise placements in bars, restuarants, and clubs.
MWL/IIE's association with its overseas suppliers has been Long Term and the quality of their products has been consistant and and of a high caliber. Floor stock inventories are controlled and made adequately available.
In control states during the last few years MWL/IIE requests for placement listings and special order participations have met with success. Currently, MWL/IIE is already shipping for Bailment warehouse inventory, and/or for special orders to 11 control states (Idaho, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, Ohio, Oregan, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wyoming).
